The Carabinieri Forestry Corps (Ferrari) conducted another raid on drug lords in the Lattari Mountains. This morning, the military, using a helicopter, flew over the Casola area and the Vena di Falconara area on Mount Megano in Gragnano, where they found over three thousand cannabis plants, already grown and ready for distribution to marijuana producers. This significant raid on the drug lords follows three other operations conducted in the last month: 2600 plants discovered last week between Lettere and Sant'Antonio Abate, and before that, 530 single-strand cannabis plants in Sperlonga di Vico Equense, and 2030 Cannabis indica plants on Mount Faito. The operation was conducted by Carabinieri officers from the Castellammare company, along with those from the Gragnano station, led by Marshal Giovanni Russo. After discovering and destroying the large quantity of drugs, the military's investigation continues to track down the producers and growers. The suspicion is that in this case, there are locals who know the territory well, especially how to hide the plants, but above all, how to water them and grow them. Today's blow was a devastating blow to the Lattari drug lords.
