After the well-known story of the failure to renew the management contract of the “Vezzuto Marasco” Stadium by the Municipal Administration of Monte di Procida, today the Montese company has reached an agreement with a group of local entrepreneurs who, after having analyzed the situation, have decided to embrace a new project to ensure that such an important sporting reality does not disappear and that high-level football continues to be played. From this agreement a new football team was born that will participate in the 2018/2019 Excellence championship and will be called “ASD Flegrea”. It will be a team in which the Montese company will converge with the grafting of an entrepreneurial matrix from the Phlegraean territory. The new corporate team is already working for the season now upon us and has already chosen the new technical guide, who has been entrusted to the expert hands of Enzo Carannante.
The new coach is already working to set up a team of quality that can worthily stand out in the Eccellenza championship, to give continuity to the good work done last season by ASD Monte di Procida Calcio. Updates will follow.
