The Villa Comunale in Vietri sul Mare continues to be the breathtaking backdrop for the "Vietri Cultura" program. On Monday, July 16th, Guglielmo Guglielmi's captivating jazz program features music by the most important composers and performers of contemporary and traditional jazz, such as Michael League (Snarky Puppy), Wayne Shorter, Stevie Wonder, David Foster, Cole Porter, "Dizzy" Gillespie, G. Gershwin, and H. Hancock, performed by the Academic Ensemble Contemporary Jazz Project. The ensemble, directed by Maestro Guglielmo Guglielmi, professor of Jazz Ensemble, is made up of students from the jazz school, enrolled in the first and second level courses at the "G. Martucci" Conservatory of Music in Salerno. On stage: Angelica Parisi, Rossella Rosanova, Serena Lotito, Filomena De Rosa, Carmine Granato, Marika De Luca, Antonella Durante, Angelica Cascone (vocals); Antonio Baldino, Antonio Scannapieco (trumpet); Federico Milone (alto saxophone); Antonio Di Filippo (tenor saxophone); Enrico Enriquez (clarinet); Angelo Carpentieri, Ivan Ciavarella, Luigi Orlando, Giuseppe Medaglia (electric guitar); Luisa Di Donato, Andrea De Blasio (electric bass); Davide Cantarella, Francesco Fasarano, Cristian Rago (percussion); Gianluca Perazzo, Alberto Emrick, Gennaro Cannavale (drums); Casimiro Erario (piano and keyboards); Raffaele Ranieri, Massimo Parisi (piano). Piano and direction by Guglielmo Guglielmi.
Tuesday 17 July, space for dance with “Cleopatra”, by the company “Studio Danza” by Maria Cardamone, which offers a journey between classical and contemporary, with nine young talents who will tell the story of the beautiful queen of Egypt with their bodies and rhythm. Opening with a suite from “Don Quixote”, inspired by the masterpiece by Miguel De Cervantes, with music by Ludwig Minkus. Dancers: Marianna Cioffi, Laura D'Amore, Valentina Ferraiuolo, Amira Giglio, Luigi Lambiase, Gabriella Milito, Morena Nicolao, Grazia Ragone, Anna Senatore.
Maria Cardamone, professional dancer and teacher, graduated in 1999 from Loredana Mutalipassi's "Arte Studio", perfected her classical and modern training at the American Dance Center "Alvin Halley" in New York, gaining numerous experiences with dance professionals from all over the world.
