The new week will feature two main events: a new phase of severe weather driven by Norwegian currents and the return of the African Caronte anticyclone in force. After a sunny and summery Monday the 9th, starting Tuesday the 10th, the rapid descent of a Norwegian low pressure system, which will suddenly reach the Alps, will worsen the weather, initially in Alto Adige and Friuli Venezia Giulia, with some thunderstorms. Then, between Wednesday the 11th and Thursday the 12th, it will trigger violent phenomena in the Po Valley, with hailstorms and localized tornadoes. These are triggered by this colder air of Scandinavian origin, which will enter through the Bora Gate across the Carso plateau, which has too often been unable to defend us, both in the past and now. It will be a veritable Viking attack on the heart of summer, but it will pass in a few hours, as a new twist is brewing from Africa.

On Friday the 13th and then on Saturday the 14th, Charon will return with extreme violence, the famous African anticyclone that could only take its name from Dante's infernal ferryman: the heat will increase forcefully in the Centre-South and then also in the North, acquiring even sub-tropical characteristics: the sun and the heat will be relentless, and for the sake of brevity we mention 37°C in Calabria and Puglia, 42°C in the internal areas of Sardinia and Sicily.

But as has often happened in this turbulent Summer, this heat wave will also be a flash in the pan: already during Sunday 15th a strong North Atlantic disturbance driven by the Icelandic Cyclone will begin to sow violent thunderstorms in the North which will then subsequently during Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th also spread to the Centre and part of the South.
