The film "Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again!" will premiere at the forty-eighth edition of the Giffoni Film Festival (July 20-28). Produced by Legendary Entertainment and Universal, it arrives ten years after "Mamma Mia!", which grossed over six hundred million dollars worldwide. British actor Jeremy Irvine will reveal details of the new film when he meets the audience, jurors, and Giffoners on July 25th. The film hits theaters on September 6th. The setting is once again the Greek island of Kalokairi, the songs are once again Abba, and the original cast is joined, this time, by new members: Lily James, previously seen in "Cinderella" and "Baby Driver," and Jeremy Irvine as young Sam. They are joined by Oscar-winning actress Meryl Streep as Donna, Julie Walters as Rosie, and Christine Baranski as Tanya. Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper return as Sophie and Sky, while Pierce Brosnan, Stellan Skarsgard and Oscar winner Colin Firth return as Sophie’s three possible fathers: Sam, Bill and Harry.
