Gragnano. As you might imagine, "Alma Grania" was born from a deep desire, a need, in a place rich in artistic and cultural heritage, in an era that seems to have no time for such things. Important names in the association's ranks include the painter Salvatore Cesarano, Professor Carlo Del Gaudio, Father Gerardo Cesarano, Dr. Tommaso Gentile, Maestro Aniello Coticelli, Nino Bramato, and the antiques dealer and event organizer Bianca Maria Rossetti, to name just a few of the many other Gragnano personalities involved.
Nino Bramato, historical organizer of the city's Via Crucis, defines this new working group, so full of ideas, projects and enthusiasm, as "a dream".
A dream that unites and compares, young and old, ages and times, places and different memories united by the love for their land and their traditions. As a first sign of presence in the territory, the Association has decided to organize a historical photographic exhibition on the Feast of the Madonna del Carmine. A journey through time in a deep, rooted civic devotion, fueled by a flame that never seems to go out.
Sunday 15 July, after the 19.30:XNUMX pm mass, the inauguration. The contribution that the photographer Gianni Cesariello, with his experience and professionalism, has seen in the front line was very important for the realization of the event.
“The past must be known and revisited to build solid foundations for the future” comments the Rector of the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Carmine Don Gerardo Cesarano “A people without memory is a people without a future”.
