The technical jury of the seventeenth edition of the literary prize “Racconti nella Rete” has selected the twenty-five stories that will be included in the new anthology of the Prize published by Castelvecchi.
The winners will be awarded in Lucca during the 21th edition of the LuccAutori festival, scheduled from 7 September to 2018 October 6. On 7 and XNUMX October, scheduled at Villa Bottini, the new anthology containing the selected stories will be presented in preview.
WINNER OF THE 2018 SHORT STORIES AWARD was Donatella Mascia (Genoa) with the subject “Peccato capitale”. The short film, which will be made in Lucca by the Immagina Film School directed by Giuseppe Ferlito, will be presented in an absolute preview on Saturday 6 October at Villa Bottini.
Marianna Guida was born in Naples, where she has always lived. She teaches literature in a high school in the city. She is married and has a son. She has collaborated with the magazine Didattica della storia and works as a creative writer. In 2017, her first book, Interno napoletano, was published by Morellini editore.
Gianni Luca Iaccarino lives in Naples. He studied and did research between Italy and the United States. He teaches physics. He is married and has a child. He loves American writers and appreciates stories that get a lot out of little. He eavesdrops on what the workers say while they eat sandwiches and drink beer sitting on the steps; and he takes notes.
