Two days dedicated to nature among flowers, plants and experts from various sectors who share a passion for greenery. Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 July, at Piazza La Rocca di Montesano sulla Marcellana they will host the second edition of “Mostra Mercato”.
The event is scheduled to begin at 10.30:XNUMX, and the ribbon cutting ceremony will be attended by Prof. Giuseppe Rinaldi, Mayor of Montesano sulla Marcellana, Prof. Enzo Monaco, President of the Italian Academy of Chilli Pepper, and the lawyer Corrado Matera, Regional Councilor for Tourism.
Many activities have been organized for the event, including many workshops that will allow the public to learn and put into practice innovative techniques, from arboriculture to gastronomic laboratories.
Also scheduled on the calendar are events dedicated to culture, including meetings that will have as a topic of discussion the vegetation of the Vallo di Diano and the specialties of plants that in the past were used for medical purposes. There will also be the opportunity to have lunch together and spend an alternative afternoon discovering Montesano sulla Marcellana, with guided visits to monuments, churches, palaces, squares, convents and city museums, and the possibility of having lunch together thanks to the collaboration of the Pro Loco association. Even the little ones will have the opportunity to have fun and learn with a workshop dedicated to them. Each of the events will be led by an expert in the sector. Professors, researchers from the CNR IBAM, artisans and chefs will also participate in the event.
During the event there will also be two competitions, “Balconies and flowerbeds in bloom”, dedicated to citizens who will show how they have embellished their home gardens, and the first edition of “Floral compositions – Summer colors” which will see the florists of Vallo di Diano compete to create the most beautiful composition.
