A 51-year-old man living in Favria, Guido Zabena, died overnight in the Canavesana railway underpass between Feletto and Rivarolo. The worker, who was returning home after work, drowned after becoming stuck in his Fiat Punto in the underpass. At 2:00 a.m., when the incident occurred, a violent thunderstorm was hitting the area. The underpass quickly flooded, preventing the man from exiting his vehicle. The Carabinieri of the Ivrea branch are investigating.
