A 69-year-old worker lost his life after falling from a ladder while setting up an exhibition in a room at the Palazzo Reale in Milan. The accident occurred around 11.45:118 a.m. The man, the owner of a company specializing in exhibition and display setups, was at the top of the ladder when, for reasons currently under investigation, he fell more than three meters to the ground. Emergency medical personnel immediately responded and transferred him to the Policlinico Hospital, but he died shortly thereafter. The victim was busy setting up the Agostino Bonalumi exhibition, which opens at the Palazzo Reale on July 13.
On site, in addition to the Carabinieri, the deputy prosecutor of Milan Tiziana Siciliano intervened, with the men of the accident prevention pool of the prosecutor's office and the personnel of the PSAL service of the ATS of Milan, competent for accidents at work. The investigations will have to clarify whether the worker lost his balance or fell following an illness.
