Tomorrow, Wednesday 4 July, the national premiere of “Pensieri all'improvvisa – Cantata del prima e del dopo” will debut at the Napoli Teatro Festival: a concert show by and with Lina Sastri, and with Pino Perris on piano, Maurizio Pica on guitar, Filippo D'Allio on guitar, Luigi Sigillo on double bass. The arrangements are by Maurizio Pica and the stage design by Bruno Garofalo. The show, on stage at the Cortile d'Onore of Palazzo Reale at 21.30:2018 pm, between poetry and music, is a poetic reflection on love, life, art, inspired and partly taken from the homonymous libretto in verse by Lina Sastri (XNUMX, Guida Editori). The show is made up of original texts by the artist to which are added short fragments by authors who have loved and written a lot about Naples. The musical selection chosen by Lina Sastri for this new work includes pieces chosen from the repertoire of great contemporary musicians-poets, from Lucio Dalla to Fabrizio De Andrè, from Luigi Tenco to Francesco De Gregori up to Pino Daniele. “Plus a few surprises” – underlines the artist – with which I complete a journey that is revealed in ten chapters”. The true protagonist of the show is poetry “that which speaks of the wound of love and the wound of the soul – adds Lina Sastri – but also of sudden joy. Of pain and hope. Of ethics and justice”.
