“Ciao Alex! It's just a small operation. In a few weeks you'll be back with the group. We're waiting for you!”. This is how Napoli, with a tweet, greets the young goalkeeper Alex Meret who yesterday, during training, suffered a fracture of the middle third of his left ulna. Meret will be operated on today at the Pineta Grande clinic in Castel Volturno. During the operation, a plate with 4 or 6 holes will be implanted in the ulna of his left arm with relative immobilization that will be removed in about a month. It is expected that at least 30 days will be needed for the formation of the bone callus. From that moment on, the second phase of recovery of the muscle tone of the forearm will begin. Recovery times between two and three months and the initial part of the season skipped.
