The first installment of the "Spend an Evening with..." series, organized by the Castellabate Department of Tourism and Culture, features well-known faces from the worlds of Italian entertainment, film, and journalism during summer evenings. This edition opens with renowned director Neri Parenti, guest of the cultural program taking place Friday, July 13th at 10:00 PM at Villa Matarazzo in Santa Maria. Renowned for his humorous and box-office successes, Parenti will converse with RAI journalist Ettore De Lorenzo in a starlit program, open to the public free of charge. He will retrace his long career through an interview, sharing behind-the-scenes anecdotes about his greatest hits, such as the Fantozzi films, Christmas films, and his many comedies. The next "Metti una sera con..." events, part of the rich calendar of events organized and promoted by the municipality, will be on July 27th with TV host Giancarlo Magalli and on August 11th with actor Giuseppe Zeno. All events are free. Councilor for Tourism and Culture Luisa Maiuri commented on this year's inauguration: "The exciting events continue with this event, conceived by our municipality's Department of Tourism and Culture, which is becoming a consolidated cultural feature of our summer program. This year, it's moving to Villa Matarazzo," she added, "This truly distinguished lineup of guests adds to the already well-received events of previous years, which included names such as Veronica Pivetti, Antonio Caprarica, Riccardo Scamarcio, and Roberto Giacobbo... The meeting with director Parenti will provide an authoritative account of the world of cinema, a topic dear to Castellabate, and will open the festival with a bang."
