Naples. State Police officers from the San Paolo Police Station have arrested Salvatore Capone, a 38-year-old Neapolitan with a criminal record, responsible for the crime of illegal possession of weapons. Yesterday morning, a person under special surveillance showed up at the Police Station to fulfill his legal obligations. The latter arrived on a scooter accompanied by a man. However, a car with a person on board also arrived with the scooter, not far from the Police Station. The police officers, suspicious of these two presences, immediately stopped the motorcyclist. The driver instead began to run away on foot towards the stadium, dropping a gun on the ground. The officers nevertheless caught up with him and stopped him, recovering the gun that turned out to be a Crvena Zastava manufactured in the former Yugoslavia, complete with magazine, cartridges and a round in the chamber. Capone was therefore arrested and taken to the Poggioreale prison.
