Naples. A 42-year-old ANM bus driver, TM, was threatened and verbally assaulted by passengers tired of long waits at bus stops. The unfortunate incident occurred yesterday at one of the C44 bus stops and was reported by USB. "Unfortunately, this is no longer a new phenomenon," says Marco Sansone of the USB Regional Coordination. "These are the results of ongoing service cuts, which primarily affect residents who, mistakenly, turn on staff, sparking a veritable war of the poor. We hope that the bankruptcy plan, which should save the company, will truly achieve justice through the reorganization of the management team responsible for the operating program. We strongly relaunch the strike on July 13th, so that the City will finally prioritize citizens' right to mobility, which often coincides with workers' safety."
