Naples, he sold hashish in a slum in the Sanità district: arrested

Naples. This morning, State Police officers from the San Carlo Arena Police Station arrested Luigi Santagata, a 40-year-old Neapolitan, for the crime of possession and dealing in narcotics. The officers, during an activity aimed at combating the phenomenon of drug dealing, went to the Sanità neighborhood and stationed themselves in the so-called Chinese steps area. During the stakeout, the officers noticed some young people leaving a ground-floor apartment. The officers, suspicious, decided to intervene and, following a check inside the apartment, found on the 40-year-old, hidden in a cigarette packet, 5 sticks of hashish and the sum of 55 euros. Inside the apartment, under the bed, the police found a black package with a magnet containing 7 sticks of hashish, weighing 20 grams, 73 cellophane packages containing marijuana weighing 3 grams and the sum of 3,53 euros, kept in a kitchen cabinet. Santagata was arrested and taken to the Poggioreale prison.
