There could have been a death, or rather, deaths. That wasn't the case. At least four people were injured, though not seriously, and homes and vehicles were damaged. A gas tank exploded in a building on Via Turati. According to eyewitnesses, it was a very powerful explosion, even shaking nearby buildings. There wasn't a single explosion. Other, less serious explosions followed shortly thereafter, directly affecting cars parked inside the building's garage. The number of injuries currently stands at four. A woman is said to be in the worst condition, but not in serious condition, after being thrown into the air by the explosion. The cars involved were damaged. Meanwhile, several firefighters were dispatched to the scene, with the road closed and cordoned off. The air on Via Turati remains unbreathable, with a basement filled with smoke and flames. Other emergency services arrived quickly and are still operating in the area.
