The Metropolitan City of Naples with the Metropolitan Mayor Luigi De Magistris, the Forza Italia Council Group led by the Metropolitan Group Leader, Felice Di Maiolo, Mayor of Mariglianella, work in harmony to adhere to the invitation of the Ministry of the Interior, Management Authority of the Pon Legalità 14-20, to formulate proposals for social and work inclusion paths for subjects at risk of deviance to be implemented in some neighborhoods between the Capital Municipality and some of the metropolitan territory.
The Mayor of the Metropolitan City of Naples intends to seize this opportunity and therefore pursue the objectives of inclusive and sustainable growth in his territory with a high rate of economic hardship that compromises the growth paths of young people and further penalizes the weaker sections of the population.
Therefore, the Metropolitan City of Naples has developed a project that includes social actions of "Road and Proximity" and "Individualized educational support plans", in favor of the youth world at risk of deviance and to contain, reduce the personal conditions and social factors that slow down or block the urban development of the entire metropolitan area.
They have been identified, on the basis of social indicators, unfortunately alarming, of school dropout, educational failure, risk of deviance in the youth population in the age group from 14 to 25 years of age and the level of mafia pervasiveness.
These are the neighborhoods identified for the aforementioned project: Ponticelli and San Giovanni of the City of Naples; and for the Municipalities of the internal area, the Green Park of Caivano; Salicelle of Afragola; the ex law 219 neighborhood of Marigliano, the Enrico De Nicola Park, ex 219, of Castello di Cisterna. This last inclusion was strongly desired by the Forza Italia Group and requested by its Group Leader in the Metropolitan Council, Felice Di Maiolo, at the Metropolitan City of Naples.
Felice Di Maiolo himself expressed his "satisfaction in sharing a project idea that virtuously runs through the various institutional levels, from the Ministry of the Interior, to the Metropolitan City, to the Mayor and the Metropolitan Council, and finally responsibly involves the Local Authorities. I myself, as Group Leader of Forza Italia in the Metropolitan Council of Naples, and also as Mayor of Mariglianella, in the heart of the Agro Nolano-Pomiglianese, have done my utmost to ensure that the areas of social suffering with a clear risk of social deviance, school dropout and socio-cultural marginalization, especially in the so-called ex 219, the neighborhoods that arose for the reconstruction after the 1980 earthquake, were taken into consideration, as has been done, and for this I thank Mayor De Magistris and the competent administrative offices. The resident families and those young people must be given opportunities for recovery and full integration to definitively overcome the difficulties encountered up to now. All that remains for the interested Municipal Administrations to do is to wish a successful implementation of the projects that they will implement locally, thanks to the Metropolitan City of Naples and the intercepted funds PON Legality Fesr Fse 2014-2010 Axis IV Action 4.1.2”.
