Car robbed with newborn baby on board: two very young people arrested

This morning, as part of an investigation coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office
Republic of Naples North, the Carabinieri of the Marano Company and the Villaricca Station, have executed a precautionary prison measure order, issued by the GIP of the Court of Naples North, against two people, already detained for another case, for the crime of robbery in competition.
The investigation has uncovered a serious body of evidence, corroborated by the investigating judge, against the suspects, who are believed to be responsible for the robbery that took place in Villaricca on March 28th. While one of the accomplices was using a ruse (a fake collision) to convince a woman to get out of her car, the other quickly climbed into the vehicle, which contained the victim's youngest daughter (21 months), and fled, dragging the woman for several meters. She clung to the door to prevent the theft. The vehicle was abandoned after a few kilometers, with the infant still inside, who, in the circumstances, did not suffer any injuries.
