Elvira Seminara, a writer from Catania, will be the protagonist of the Incontro con l'Autore, the event that officially opens the sixth edition of the Settimana Letteraria in Roccagloriosa. The cultural event, scheduled from Saturday 7 to Saturday 14 July in the squares of Roccaglioriosa, is organized by the cultural association onlus Effetto Donna. It starts this afternoon at 18.00:9 with a meeting with an author, in Piazza di San Nicola in Rocchetta, to discover the work behind the novels of the author, journalist and pop artist Elvira Seminara. She will be interviewed by the journalist Marianna Vallone. The evening will be accompanied by musical interludes by the students of the Liceo Musicale Carlo Pisacane of Sapri. On Monday 18 July, food culture will also be the protagonist. In Piazza del Popolo at 30:12 pm the expert in popular traditions Vincenzo Lovisi will hold a lecture on the theme “La tavola di Demetra: nascita e sviluppo della cultura gastronomica lucana”, followed by the placing of the tile from the last edition of the competition Mangia, bevi, scrivi, a tasting of local dishes 'A tavola con i lucani' created by chefs Enza Petraglia (Ristorante U Trappitu) and Giovanna Voria (agriturismo Corbella) with Apicultura Cavalieri di Roccagloriosa.
