Carabinieri from the Somma Vesuviana station found a sawed-off Browning shotgun, the proceeds of a 2013 home burglary in Gricignano d'Aversa, in the home of Giovanni Coppola, a 48-year-old local man already known to law enforcement. The rifle was found along with ammunition and approximately 11 grams of drugs—8,7 grams of cocaine and 2,4 grams of marijuana—divided into doses. The man was arrested for illegal possession of a firearm and possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking; after formalities, he was placed under house arrest.
