Castel Volturno. He had a drink at a tobacconist's, then asked for a pack of cigarettes and, instead of paying, began threatening the owner. "I'm a boss, and if you don't give me a hundred euros, I'll destroy everything." A Ghanaian migrant attempted to commit extortion at a bar in the right-hand Volturno neighborhood. Despite the threats, the bar owner, however, did not lose heart: he called 112. Within minutes, a patrol arrived and detained the man, not without difficulty. He is a 31-year-old Ghanaian citizen, undocumented, and with a criminal record. He was arrested on charges of criminal damage, attempted extortion, and resisting arrest.
