African citizens shot with soft air guns: Carabinieri investigation

Africans injured by airsoft gunfire. It happened twice in a matter of days in Forlì, where the Carabinieri are investigating to determine the incident and whether the same person may be behind it. Two nights ago, on Viale Bolognesi, a 33-year-old Ivorian man was struck by a bullet presumably fired from an airsoft gun. He was riding a bicycle, he said, and the shot apparently came from a car that drove alongside him. He suffered minor abdominal injuries and is expected to be in hospital for 10 days.

And it is a member of the foreigners' council, Gbeu Serge Diomande, who tells of a second episode: in the night between Monday and Tuesday, in Corso Garibaldi, a Nigerian woman was approached by a scooter and one of the two people on board injured her foot, again with an airsoft gun. The victim did not report it out of fear. The same member of the Council raises the alarm: "Yes, it can be called racism. Because they shoot black people," he told Resto del Carlino.
