“Right to justice - duty to inform to protect women against violence” is the title of the conference-event promoted by the international association MISS CHEF®, which will take place on Friday 20 July 2018, from 11 am, in Naples, at the headquarters of the Campania Joint Union of Journalists-SUGC, in Via Cappella Vecchia, “Santo Della Volpe” room. After the acclaim received for the international project “Women, Intellect of Love and Beyond” held on March 14, 15 and 16 in Rome and Basilicata, it was decided to give life to a series of other conference-events around Italy and we will start again from the city of Naples on July 20 with the initiative promoted by MISS CHEF® in synergy with the Campania Joint Union of Journalists-UGC and with the media partner magazine Lo Strillo, with the patronage of Matera Capital of Culture 2019 and LIDU Onlus – Italian League of Human Rights.
This conference-event was created to explore the world of women and their creative and revitalizing power, continually allowing beauty, love, and the intelligence of the heart to triumph over violence, marginalization, abuse of power, ignorance, and arrogance. It will begin with the socio-institutional efforts implemented to protect women from femicide and domestic and other forms of abuse. It will also explore projects and expertise, focusing on the issues, particularly the actions and responsibilities of the justice system and the Italian media and press. Specific topics will include rights and local experiences, information and language, and the "Venice Manifesto." Greetings: Claudio Silvestri, Secretary of the Sugc (Italian Human Rights League).
