Asia Argento is there. And it will be there at least until the end of the Hearings. Thus begins the first episode of the 2018 edition of X Factor, with Alessandro Cattelan's explanations and the presence of the actress who was the victim of harassment in the Weinstein case and accused of harassment in the Bennett case. The 4 judges of #XF12 are, at least for now: the voice of Italian alternative music Manuel Agnelli, the veteran Fedez, the new entry Asia Argento and the queen of talent Mara Maionchi. The first to step onto the stage of #XF12 is Emanuele Bertelli. Accompanying himself on the piano, he sings "Human" by Rag'n'Bone Man. "The reincarnation of Otis Redding," as Manuel Agnelli calls it, gets the approval of all four judges. #XF12 starts with a standing ovation and 4 Yeses. Gabriele Crescente tries his hand at Corona's huge dance hit, "Rhythm of the Night." His "uniqueness" impresses Manuel Agnelli and the "talent scout" Fedez, but for the two women at the table it is No. There's room for every musical genre on the X Factor stage: Andrea Paonessa tries his hand at classical music! His version of Andrea Bocelli's "Con te partirò" didn't convince any of the judges: here are the first 4 Nos of #XF12. The next contestant's face is hidden, but his voice and message go straight to the guts of all 4 judges! Under the mask Christian Almasio, or Alex Cliff, who, with his unreleased "Bambino", obtains the consensus of the entire jury of #XF12. Yes again for Jennifer Milan and her version of "Dusk till dawn" by Zyan feat Sia. Is it her "mouse ears hairstyle" that strikes our judges? The first band arrives: Darsteller, who try their hand at "Cuore Matto" by Little Tony. For Fedez it is No, but for Mara Maionchi, Manuel Agnelli and Asia Argento it is Yes. 4 NOs for "Novembre" by Giusy Ferreri, sung by Valentina Ciccone, and for Blanche who try to interpret the trap of Ghali and his "Habibi" and for Andrea Biondini Campolo. Tears at #XF12! Elena Piacenti, who, along with her ukulele, sings Sergio Endrigo's masterpiece "Io che amo solo te". Moka Stone sing their unreleased rap song "Grazie di che". For Fedez it's No, but for the other 3 judges it is? Yup. Mattia and Francesco Portale try their hand at "Rosso parenti" by Tiziano Ferro. Asia Argento’s yes is not enough. Mattia Lezi advances with the vegetable garden. The performances of Ekaterina Morozova, who sings "Sway" by Michael Bublè, Sergio Melone, who tries his hand at "Living on a Prayer" by Jon Bon Jovi, and Rossella Zitiello who brings the 4 non-Blondes on stage with "What's Up" do not convince any of the 4 judges! Another standing ovation on the #XF!12 stage! Do you all know what "Cherophobia" is? Martina Attili tells us about it in her unpublished work. X Factor flies to Broadway with Sherol Dos Santos Da Veiga and it's 4 yeses. Four noes for Alessandra Carratù, 4 yeses for Srimiyatun Atun who performs the great classic "Perdere l'amore" by Massimo Ranieri. Another attempt at trap, this time successful. Seveso disordine Palace bring Sfera Ebbasta's "Ricchi x Sempre" to the stage of #XF12 in a "trap-metal" version. "Your version is better than the original": and if Manuel Agnelli says so, you can all believe it! 4 Yes for this "no frills" band as Fedez defines it!
