According to some witnesses, the attack was particularly violent. The victim is now hospitalized.
Some travellers report that the internal door between the driver's cabin and the passenger compartment was shattered. The causes of the attack have yet to be ascertained.
The attacker was also reportedly injured by the glass from the shattered door. Traffic along Line 1 was interrupted for about 20 minutes.
As it was later clarified, the attacker was drunk. He had taken the wrong direction and demanded that the driver turn the train back.
Hence the attack. When breaking the door separating the cabin from the passenger compartment, the attacker injured himself.
He lost blood and is now in hospital. The driver escaped with severe shock but his general condition is considered good.
