House arrest for two brothers and their friend: they were raiding shops in the Caserta area

This morning, personnel from the Garabinieri Company Command - Mobile Radio Unit - of Capua, delegated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, executed an order applying the precautionary measure of the obligation to remain at home, issued by the preliminary investigations judge of the Sammaritano Court - at the request of the Investigating Office - against Francesco Carillo, 30, Nicola Carillo, 24, and Francesco Leone, 24, all residents of Naples, investigated for conspiracy to commit theft and attempted theft, committed against owners of commercial establishments located in the Province of Caserta.
In particular, the precautionary measure constitutes the epilogue of a complex and delicate investigation directed by the Public Prosecutor's Office and conducted by the Carabinieri Company Command - Radiomobile Quota - of Capua, which has allowed the acquisition of serious and unequivocal elements against the suspects in relation to the following criminal dynamics.
On the night between 26 and 27 June 2017, in Pietramelara and Riardo, in collusion with each other in order to obtain an unjust profit after having torn down and forced the shutters of 4 commercial establishments, namely a newsstand, a bar, a mini market and a clothing store, they stole cash, cell phones and various objects.
On June 27, 2017, in Riardo the suspects, stopped and subjected to a police check by military personnel operating from the Radiomobile Unit of the Capua Carabinieri Company Command, were found in possession of a cell phone, money and sweets resulting from theft at the “Smaldone” newsstand and other commercial activities located in Riardo and Pietramelara. During the investigation, the stolen goods recovered were returned to their rightful owners.
