AArmed assault on the Post Office, two bandits in action. Armed assault on the Piana di Monte Verna post office. Two criminals broke in shortly after opening time: according to the reconstruction of the police, the bandits arrived in the area on board a vehicle. Once inside, one of the two went towards the counter, while the accomplice remained to guard the entrance. Then, with the weapon pointed at the employees, he ordered them to hand over the cash to be hidden in plastic bags. The criminals then ran away, disappearing before the arrival of the carabinieri. The amount of loot has yet to be quantified: at this time investigations are underway to identify the criminals. Investigators are acquiring images from the cameras and testimonies from those present.
