To delve deeper into the price differences, Facile.it compared the best rates for theft-fire coverage for a typical driver profile in Bari, Bologna, Cagliari, Catania, Florence, Genoa, Milan, Naples, Rome, Turin and Venice, discovering that, in addition to the city, the owner's merit class often also affects the cost of the additional guarantee. Given the same profile, a driver in tenth class in Naples, for example, pays almost 10% more than one in first class; in Rome, Milan and Cagliari, the difference in cost between a tenth class and a first class exceeds 25%, while in Turin it reaches as much as 47%.
