Sarno. A child of only two years (who turned two in May) died this morning at the Martiri di Villa Malta hospital due to suspected meningitis. The little boy with a high fever had arrived with his parents from the hospital in Nocera Inferiore where they had gone yesterday for tests. In the morning it was decided to transfer him to the hospital in Sarno where the situation suddenly worsened and little Aniello B.'s heart stopped. The family is well known in Sarno, the grandfather has a painting business while the father recently opened a recreational club. The Nocera public prosecutor's office has ordered the seizure of the child's body and has opened an investigation. The autopsy will establish the causes of little Aniello's death.
