I Carabinieri of the Castellammare mobile radio unit have arrested Luigi Uvale, a 52-year-old local man already known to the police who was responsible for an attempted theft in a bar in Piazza Unità d'Italia.
The man was caught by the military while he was forcing the entrance door of the premises with an iron bar that was confiscated. The arrested man is awaiting the summary trial.
