E' aired yesterday evening on Le Iene the report filmed in Caserta by the correspondent Gaetano Pecoraro who told the story of Nazario Di Cicco and the disastrous conditions of some hospitals in the Caserta area. Di Cicco, an orthopedic surgeon who has not been able to operate for 18 years because he denounced the incredible situation he was in at the Moscati hospital in Aversa. His most serious crime? Having also reported in the newspapers that 248 deaths could have been avoided in the ASL of Aversa. Di Cicco is subjected to a psychiatric examination: he is diagnosed with a mysterious (non-existent) illness, “mobbing syndrome”.
But not only that: filming is also carried out in other hospitals in the Caserta area where they found urine in the corridors, ants and even dead mice and pigeons. Gaetano Pecoraro finally manages, after a long search, to speak with the general director of the ASL of Caserta who, filming them too, denies everything.
