SMaritime connections between Capri and the mainland resumed, albeit intermittently, this morning, after being completely interrupted yesterday due to adverse weather conditions. High-speed vessels are providing services between Sorrento and Capri, while the Caremar ship has restored connections to NAPLES. The damage is being counted after the bad weather that hit the island yesterday. Via Grotta Azzurra in Anacapri was closed to pedestrians and vehicles due to the risk of falling trees and the presence of gravel on the roadway. In Capri, via Pizzolungo, via Fuorlovado and via San Costanzo were closed to traffic due to broken branches and falling plaster and stones. Schools were also closed today.
