Gdifficult day for maritime connections in the Gulf of Naples. Since the early hours of the morning, rain and wind have been lashing the mainland and the islands of Capri, Ischia and Procida, forcing shipping companies to cancel many trips, especially fast ones, due to the adverse weather and sea conditions. The Campania Civil Protection has extended the weather alert in force in the region until Tuesday; in light of the bulletin issued yesterday, the mayor of Procida Dino Ambrosino has ordered the closure of schools of all levels on the island for today.
