I Carabinieri of the Giugliano in Campania Company, Naples, have arrested for mistreatment and stalking a 44-year-old from Marano di Napoli already known to the police, executing a precautionary custody order issued by the investigating judge of the Naples North court. The investigations of the Carabinieri of the Giugliano Station began after the complaint filed by the man's ex-partner. When the woman had expressed her intention to end their cohabitation, in December 2016, he had begun to harass and torment her: insults, beatings and threats. Even her children, a 9-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy, were his victims: on one occasion he grabbed them and threw them on the sofa. The little girl was insulted, the boy saw all his toys broken. Terror in the house, until the woman decided to leave to live with her parents. However, he did not give up, continuing to bombard her with phone calls full of insults and threats. Only the complaint allowed the investigation to begin and the man to be arrested.
