IIn Naples, hundreds of people are waiting in line to undergo the test to find a potential marrow donor for little Alex, who is fighting a rare genetic disease: but the Admo stand in Piazza del Plebiscito currently has only 300 salivary swabs, so the real risk is that the operations will have to be interrupted and people will be sent home. This was announced by the little boy's family, heartbroken by a situation that threatens to compromise the search for salvation for their child. Yesterday, the family had already highlighted the insufficiency of available swabs and the Minister of Health Giulia Grillo, in agreement with the National Transplant Center and its offices, had taken steps to send the requested devices necessary for the molecular typing of the donors as quickly as possible. At the moment, however, the swabs have not yet arrived.
