The agents of the Tourist Mobility Unit carried out checks to combat illegal passenger transport and intercepted a person at the Central Station who was transporting customers on the line from Poggioreale to Piazza Garibaldi aboard his car without authorization. The driver was fined and his registration document was withdrawn, with the vehicle being impounded for 2 to 8 months. Another illegal driver was stopped at the Airport aboard his car while he was transporting two customers who had been picked up in Ariano Irpino for a fee of 50 euros. The same driver was fined and the vehicle was impounded.
