Vauction operation by the Naples Local Police, which over the weekend fined 9 illegal parking attendants and checked 16 public establishments. The Agents of the Chiaia Operational Unit at the Riviera fined a bar for 34 square meters of illegal occupation of public land, the same establishment was fined because it did not have authorization for the advertising sign. In via Bausan a restaurant was caught operating without authorization to serve food and drinks and was fined 5000 euros. In Marechiaro a restaurant was fined for an illegal advertising panel and in via Cesario Console two bars were fined for non-compliance with the concession to occupy public land because they had placed vertical PVC sheets around the perimeter to protect them from the elements, which are also prohibited by the municipal regulations on outdoor seating. In Corso Vittorio Emanuele a bar was fined for non-compliance with the occupation of land and for serving in different places, as it also carried out its activity in an area pertaining to the Cumana Station, occupying the space illegally. This area was also subjected to criminal seizure because, among other things, it was the object of the illegal installation of a canopy. Next door, a pizzeria was fined for non-compliance with the occupation of public land compared to what was foreseen in the concession, having permanently installed unplanned furnishings, for which a report is being forwarded to the Public Prosecutor's Office.
In the Baretti di Chiaia area, following a report, the activities of Vicoletto Belledonne were checked with particular reference to the diffusion of music. A venue was fined for playing music without respecting the requirements of the acoustic impact permit, i.e. with the doors open. In the streets of the Baretti and in the surrounding areas, traffic police checks were carried out, issuing 136 fines for parking, especially in the ZTL and pedestrian area of Via Ferrigni. Checks were also carried out in Villa Comunale for the parking of unauthorized vehicles, and 8 fines were issued for parking in a pedestrian area. In the streets surrounding the areas affected by the concentration of venues, such as Via Carducci, Via San Pasquale, Piazza Vittoria, Via Chiatamone, Piazza dei Martiri and Rampe Sant'Antonio a Posillipo, 9 fines were issued against illegal parking attendants, with the seizure of the proceeds of the illegal activity and the related notification of an immediate order to leave. The prevention and repression services of illegal street vendors on the Lungomare and in the area of Maschio Angioino and Galleria Umberto were constant. During these services, 340 pairs of glasses were seized in Piazza Trieste e Trento, 134 covers and 179 hats in Via Cesario Console where the street vendor, despite having a license, was fined because he was selling goods that did not comply with the provisions of the Consumer Code and therefore potentially harmful to the health of buyers. Environmental checks were also intense throughout the weekend on bars and restaurants on the Lungomare, Piazzetta a Rodinò, Quartieri Spagnoli and Piazza San Luigi in Posillipo. In particular, 12 establishments were fined for failure to respect the separate waste collection and 8 for dumping outside of hours with a fine of 500 euros each as required by the mayoral ordinance on waste. Furthermore, a garage in via Morelli, a clothing store in via dei Mille and a cinema in via Filangieri were also fined for failure to respect the separate waste collection.
