Napoli. An undocumented and still unidentified foreigner was seriously injured last night in Naples by a 42-year-old Senegalese, illegal and with a criminal record, who was then stopped by an off-duty State Police officer. It happened in the center of Naples. The victim, stabbed in the abdomen several times, was found lifeless by a police patrol near the Ascalesi hospital. She underwent surgery and is now hospitalized with a reserved prognosis. The attacker, who allegedly acted during a fight over trivial reasons, was noticed and stopped by the police officer as he was walking along Via Duomo, armed with the same kitchen knife he had used shortly before to injure the other foreigner. The Senegalese has a criminal record for receiving stolen goods, violating immigration laws and possessing false documents.
