Napoli. 'High impact' operation by the Carabinieri of the Poggioreale company and the Campania regiment during the night in San Giovanni a Teduccio, eastern suburbs of Naples. Searched, between the Villa district and via dell'Alveo Artificiale, 13 homes of individuals believed to be close to local crime. In via Taverna del Ferro, inside a cellar whose ownership is being ascertained, 511 packages of marijuana with a total weight of approximately 890 grams were found and seized, electric scales, packaging material, a revolver stolen in 2011 in Quindici in the province of Avellino and five cartridges. 174 people were checked during the operation, 57 of whom were already known to the police, and eight scooters were seized.
