Napoli. Tragedy in the night in Scampia where a 17-year-old boy died in a car accident that occurred in via Ciccotti, shortly after midnight. The boy was in the car with a 28-year-old relative and her two children, aged 4 and 9. He was in the passenger seat on the driver's side. Suddenly near the Don Guanella district, for reasons still being ascertained, the woman lost control of the car, a Pand, which first ended up against the pavement and then crashed into the wall. The 17-year-old died instantly. The young woman was transported by ambulance to Cardarelli, where she was held for checks but her condition is not serious; the two children were taken to Santobono, where they were hospitalized; they were given a 30-day prognosis. According to initial investigations, the car was traveling at high speed and a distraction while driving was fatal. None of the car's occupants were wearing seat belts.
