IThe mayor of Naples Luigi de Magistris participated this morning in Pianura in the completion ceremony of the first functional section of the expansion of the Pianura cemetery, which is part of the broader project being implemented by the project company Nea'Cropolis, made up of Neapolitan companies, which also concerns the expansion of the Soccavo and Barra cemeteries to be carried out through project financing with investments entirely borne by private individuals. The project company Nea'Cropolis is made up of Brancaccio Costruzioni SpA, CO.GE.PA Costruzioni Generali Passarelli SpA, Savarese Costruzioni SpA and Alfano Illuminazione SpA. The project, organized as an ideal continuation of the nineteenth-century layout of the existing cemetery, includes in the first section built and presented this morning a field with burial pits, a series of open-air niches for coffins, rooms with offices, spaces dedicated to cemetery functions and services for the public, the new building with niches for mortal remains and niches for cinerary urns.
