SSaturday 3 November, in a double show, at 19.00 pm and 20.30 pm, KARMA – Arte Cultura Teatro takes you on a journey into Neapolitan beliefs.
In the halls of Villa Bruno, “Palepolis: myths, legends and traditions of old Neapolis” is on stage. Accompanied by a very particular host, you will find yourself playing with a Munaciello, interacting with a jinx, rediscovering the legends linked to the cult of the dead, rediscovering the poems of Neapolitan tradition… very particular… and much, much more. The direction is by Antonio Ruocco: “This was the show that gave birth to KARMA seven years ago. It was born from my degree thesis on the beliefs linked to ancient Neapolitan houses and it became a show. Over time it has expanded and changed. I like it a lot because you laugh, you are influenced, you think about the traditions that our grandparents told us… I am very attached to it, because it is a branch linked to anthropology, which was my university studies.” The general organization is by Antonio Raia: “Palepolis is a show in continuous evolution.
You watch it again and again and every time it's fun and exciting.
Villa Bruno is the ideal place to stage it, because the rooms are a perfect setting to recreate the domestic hearth”. The cast is composed of Ciro Pellegrino, supported by Angelo Imperatore who will be the host, Ciro Scherma, Francesco S. Esposito, Vincenzo Scippa, Olimpia Panariello, Valeria Ariota, Antonio Ruocco and Rosina Riccio. The participation fee is 15.00 euros and the reservation, mandatory, can be done through the website www.karmacultura.it or by sending a message to 342 73 29 719
