Pompei. It had been closed for years and this afternoon it suddenly swung open. The Holy Door of the Basilica of the Blessed Virgin of the Rosary in Pompeii suddenly swung open by itself and many people cried it a miracle. The heavy door had been closed for some time and, despite their efforts, no one had managed to reopen it or unlock the lock. This afternoon, however, in conjunction with the exceptional gusts of wind that lashed the area, one of the two doors opened. The faithful of Pompeii had already cried it a miracle after the 'oscillations' of the stone crown in the hands of the statue at the top of the Basilica. The firefighters had to intervene several times to secure it to its hook.
