Complaints are coming from the citizens of Foce, forced to share for some days with the bad smell that the biogas plant is said to emanate. The stench is said to have intensified since the organic materials were left uncovered in the tanks for reasons related to the removal of the protective dome undergoing maintenance. The Società Agricola Sarno Ecologia e Ambiente, manager of the anaerobic digestion plant, has been at the center of a dispute for years that has seen the associations present in the area on the front line, always against the construction of the plant, perceivers of the Nimby syndrome, or the smell. Nauseous, similar to rotten eggs (caused by hydrogen sulfide, or hydrogen sulfide, H2S) it disturbs the normal daily life of the residents forced against their will to barricade themselves in their homes. The associations are ready to create a dossier with the citizens' reports to forward to the Municipality so that it can take action on the matter.
