Iroad accident this afternoon, around 16pm on the SS4 Salaria in Torricella in Sabina, in the Rieti area. Following a collision between two cars, four people died, four others were injured, on site teams of the Fire Brigade and the Police are still intervening at the site of the collision.
According to an initial reconstruction of the dynamics, it was a head-on collision. One of the two cars involved would have invaded the opposite lane, perhaps due to the slippery asphalt from the rainfall of the last few hours. The accident occurred in one of the most dangerous stretches of the Salaria to Rome, at kilometer 60 between Poggio San Lorenzo and Ponte Buita, where serious accidents had already occurred in the past. In addition to the 4 victims confirmed so far, there would also be one seriously injured.
