Marcianise. A new chapter is added to the issue of displaced people that has been taking centre stage in Marcianise in recent weeks. In these minutes a patrol of the Marcianise municipal police command is trying to convince, together with the men of the local police station, the Farina couple to leave the commercial room that they have illegally occupied near the area of the weekly fair. It is precisely one of the boxes intended for the activities of the market on Via Luigi Fuccia.
The couple, whose story was brought to the attention of the public thanks to the numerous reports of the television editor Pino Grazioli of Tv Paradise, do not want to abandon what has become their home. They have made it known that they have no other place to sleep and for this reason they are resisting the requests of the authorities. Negotiations are underway with the agents but the situation is understandably tense also in light of the latest cases that have broken out in the city.
For a week now, the four women evacuated from the building on via Paolo De Majo have been sleeping on the benches in the green area of piazza Principe di Napoli and last Friday they staged a protest at the entrance to the Municipality of Marcianise. The destination for the families evacuated from the multipurpose center after the demolition also remains to be clarified.
