Finte luxury car sales, also at risk of trial is the former contestant of “Temptation Island” reality show on Canale 5, Andrea Celentano. In total, nine people are at risk of trial on charges of criminal association aimed at fraud in the sale of luxury cars. The Nola Prosecutor's Office has requested trial for the former contestant of the reality show, for his father Luigi Celentano who is considered by the magistrates to be the head of the association, his brother Gianluca, Erario, Salvatore Bartiromo, Salvatore Carbone, Luigi and Vittorio Siniscalchi and Jessica Verdino. The investigations conducted over two years have reconstructed that the group offered potential victims, both Italian and foreign, the purchase of large luxury cars at convenient prices. According to the Prosecutor's Office, each of the suspects played a specific role.
The group also gave away a trip to Italy to potential customers, after viewing the vehicles the suspects received sums of money in the form of a deposit. However, the vehicles were never delivered. Among the cars shown were a Triumph Tr6 and a Porsche 911. For some cars, the suspects, according to the Prosecutor's Office, received from 40 to 160 thousand euros.
