Volla. A 37-year-old was arrested by the Carabinieri for possession of a modified blank-firing pistol. The man kept the weapon in his car and the car was parked outside his home when the Carabinieri of the Volla station proceeded to search it.
In the car of Vincenzo Vaccaro, a 37-year-old local man already known to the police, the military found and seized a blank-firing pistol modified in the barrel to make it offensive. It was, moreover, dangerous also because such a weapon risks exploding in the hands of the shooter. The man was arrested for weapon alteration and placed under house arrest pending the summary trial.
