NIn the context of the checks already underway in the Agro-Aversa area aimed - among other things - at identifying illegal laboratories of companies that produce "off the books" and illegally dispose of industrial waste and processing scraps, yesterday the financial police of the Aversa Group discovered in Lusciano a factory that made use of irregular labor, used for the production and assembly of shoe parts. In particular, immediately after access, it was possible to ascertain that none of the 7 (seven) workers present were regularly employed, confirming the widespread diffusion of artisan laboratories that carry out individual production phases in inadequate structures and in clear violation of the regulations on workers' rights, which is often also accompanied by significant tax evasion.
The harmful effects of the phenomenon of undeclared work are multiple: first of all, it is highly probable that a worker employed in violation of the obligations in force has not received adequate training to carry out his/her duties, thus leading to a significant increase in the risk of accidents. Furthermore, the irregular employment of workers inevitably translates into negative effects on the entire community, due to the lack of revenue by the State from tax, insurance and social security contributions, and because it generates - in relation to the evident savings on labor costs - unfair competition between companies, to the detriment of honest entrepreneurs. The consequent administrative sanctions were immediately triggered for the inspected company and a proposal to suspend the business activity was submitted to the competent Territorial Labor Inspectorate.
